How I deal with pre-existing risk factors in a positive way

When I’m feeling drained or having a rough day I simply accept the fact of the risks that can be involved such as turning to drugs to mask what I feel, it won’t go away! So, I choose to journal it down or do something that causes me to drift my attention to where I feel in control. I say to myself that It’s going to get better, and that I’m not going to let myself get caught up in my emotions where I then may do something that I’ll regret. And my day goes on.
