Did you know 1 in 4 Canadians will develop at least one anxiety disorder at some point in their lives? This is the issue I want to talk about, the struggles of anxiety and how important this topic is to me.
The topic of anxiety is important to me because I experience anxiety myself and I’m always seeking ways to find out how to deal with it in my daily life. It’s really common for me to experience it especially with school. Due dates on assignments and public presentations really get me nervous even if I know I can get them done easily.
Anxiety affects everyone differently, symptoms can occur such as a pounding heart, sweating, headaches, shortness of breath, and shakiness. These can be bad for performances at work or school, but there are ways to deal with it. What people use to deal with anxiety is different for everyone.
All I’m saying is that anxiety is a real pain to deal with, but if you experience anxiety, you aren’t alone.
