As I see it everybody goes through something in their lives, whether it’s from losing a loved one, whether it’s moving to a whole new city, or whether it’s mental health/ depression/ anxiety problems.

our world, our generation, our city, our school, our homes, our friends, and our family, have taught us all to be resilient in some way,

we also all have ways of coping with our problems, for me, a huge coping strategy is art

Ever since I was as little as 4 years old, I was always found doing something that I probably shouldn’t have done, most likely involving my dad’s highly expensive art supplies. I have always had a more creative side to me, instead of watching tv, I’d be dancing, expressing my emotions, painting, making cotton ball snowmen, and singing. I think what has gotten me so attached to art was that I could see feelings and emotions.
