The Fall And The Monkey

It sounds like static because I’m standing at the base of a 50-foot waterfall in the middle of the jungle. My grandpa and I are taunting the monkeys in the trees, and the two families of howlers are yelling at each other. The whole thing erupts in a hellish roar no more than 20 feet from me.
The video will never do justice to standing there with your boots in the river and the fact that it will be the dry season in just a few weeks and that fall will go from flowing water to moss and flower. The monkeys will leave and come back in a few months, and I will go back and do it all again with my grandpa, the wild man”Tarzan.”
