My plant is for my mother for Mother’s Day because she has done so much for me. For example, she is the one that always comes with me for my doctor appointments, and therapy appointments, and when I have to spend the night in the hospital. She is the one that I always go and talk to because she is my comfort person when I am feeling down. She knows how to comfort me by giving me a hug or just letting me talk to her and she is the best person in the whole world.
The things I learned about doing this project is that if you don’t take care of something it will die. The other thing that I learned is that my mother has done so much for me and I don’t even realize it sometimes. I also rarely have time when it is just me and her. For example, yesterday after my sister got out of the truck and then got into her truck with my brother and her fiance, it was just me and her. When me and her were driving back home we talked, listened to music, sang a couple songs together, and we made each other laugh a couple times.
I named my plant after my mother’s middle name and her middle name is Lee-Alice. I love that name because I love my mother. So I just want to thank my mother for being there for me for so long and even putting up with crap. I didn’t do much decorating on the plant pot but I put “I love you mom, a heart, and I love you forever.”
The thing that went well is that I watered it when it needed it and the thing that did not go well is that one time I over watered it.
