Resiliency

I am the survivor type of resilient because I’ve been through some difficult and sometimes traumatizing times only to come back stronger. I used to see myself as a victim only to realize that I’m not. I am a survivor of difficult situations that I most definately can bounce back from, even last week, I was sick and missed a week of school and I have a lot to catch up on, but I know I’ll be able to do it.

It’s good to see yourself as a survivor and not a victim. i used to see myself as a victim but then i moved passed that and started to see myself as a survivor. And since then i’ve been happier. I wish you luck on catching up with your studies!

I also used to see myself as a victim, and although sometimes I still struggle with that, having a survivor mindset is important. I also have struggles with school attendance and catch up. I hope we can both catch up on schoolwork!

Seeing yourself as a survivor is very important to understanding why it happened, allows you the freedom to create new memories outside fear of past trauma.

Moving past trauma is one of the most important things we as humans can do. No matter how big or small, it’s still something that was so painful our brain causes us to live in a state of fear. Moving past allows us to be free.
