Independence

I am strongly independent. Growing up in a large family, and being the oldest, I had to depend on myself for a lot. I ended up moving out at 15 which taught me more independence, I had to pay my own bills, and buy my own groceries. Obviously, I still had some help from my mom, but for the most part, living on my own I was pretty independent. On the other hand, I also feel I am independent because I tend to keep to myself and have a healthy distance between me and people because it causes less drama and it is what makes me comfortable! Being independent doesn’t mean you can’t ask for help or that you do everything on your own, it means you aren’t always dependent on others and you take responsibility.
