For my kindness project, I painted a picture of my older sister. I have always felt like she has given so much to me. She would love and spend on me and my sister when we hung out. She says she does this because she doesn’t get to see me all the time but I still feel bad. So this year for Christmas I painted a portrait of her which helped me learn just how much fun painting really is.

That’s awesome (both the painting and what it means)! To be able to confidently connect with folks close to us using something each person understands is a real treat. It’s like a little hidden message over top of the stuff everyone else can see.
