My Plant

I’m giving my plant to my mom, not just for Mother’s Day but because she loves plants, and she’s had a very stressful couple of weeks at her work.

She has been working 12 hours most days, and when she comes home, she is exhausted. I know a plant won’t do much, but I think she’ll love it because it’s coming from me, knowing that I love her.

We’ve all been working on our plants for four weeks now, and my plant looks good, I have been watering it every other day because I don’t want to overwater it.

I called my plant Aether just because I like that name. It was between Aether, Pharaoh, and Eros. I wish I named it Eros the sum of life-preserving instincts that are manifested as impulses to gratify basic needs, as sublimated impulses. As impulses to protect and preserve the body and mind, and I don’t mean this sexually it’s a familial love that can’t be broken.
