When I started my plant, it had one little green leaf, during the first two or so weeks not much happened. I kept overwatering my plant, making 1 or 2 leaves die off. New ones started to grow instead of those that died, and these ones are starting to thrive. I learned that taking care of plants is more difficult than I thought it would be. I had to pay a lot closer attention to the things I wasn’t used to paying attention to. I also learned I am not good at remembering I had a plant.
I didn’t really have a specific design idea for the outside of my pot. As I saw the different colours of markers I kind of just drew what came to my imagination. I chose the lighter coulored pot because I felt the colors would look even better. Some of my pot are empty, but I think the rest makes up for it.
I’m choosing to give my plant to my friend. She just had a baby recently, and I think it would be a cute mothers Day present and a nice addition to the nursery. The plant will get to grow up at the same time as her little baby.
