Kindness is an adverb and an adjective; adverbs describe actions, and kindness can be an action to me. To me, it can be as simple as when I helped my neighbor Polieen carry her groceries to her kitchen. Nobody asked me to help her, but something inside me wanted to (keep in mind Polieen is 103 years old), so helping her made me feel better, knowing she wouldn’t hurt herself carrying heavy bags of potatoes.
